What’s the difference between Advising Services and Consulting Services?

As Technology Advisors we’ll inject our experience into your IT organization. We’ll provide guidance to your staff and assist them in producing effective results.

Advisors work with your staff, guiding them and teaching them to execute in a way that reduces costs and increases revenues.

Consultants inject themselves into your organization and produce results (usually with the help of your staff). When a consultant is done, your staff is no more knowledgeable than when the consultant started, leaving you dependent upon the consultant.

If your staff is short handed, a consulting service may be the way to go. However, if your staff is capable of learning to do things for themselves, an Advisor is the better choice.
